Turning on the display panel
Learn how to turn the power on.
1. Turn on all source components.
2. Connect the power cord to the power receptacle on the side of the display panel. For AC
panels, the voltage is 100-240V.
3. Connect the other end of the power cord to a power source.
4. On the side of the display panel, turn on the main power switch.
When the display panel is in Standby mode, the power indicator turns orange.
5. To turn on the display panel, press the power button on the remote control or the keypad.
It might take a few minutes for the display panel to warm up. Once it is warmed up, an image
appears on the screen.
Avoiding image retention
Image retention can occur when static content appears on the display panel for long periods of time.
Image retention is not covered under warranty. To prolong the life of your display panel, follow these
recommendations.
•
Operate the display panel within its rated ambient environment. Christie recommends an
operating temperature of 5 to 40 degrees Celsius (41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit), with a
maximum relative humidity of 75%.
•
Avoid static content. Christie recommends displaying moving images whenever possible, and
using a screen saver with a moving image.
•
Turn off the display panel when it is not in use, or use the Real Time Clock feature to
automatically turn off the display panel at preset times of the day.
•
Turn on the IRFM setting.
