Operation

8.1

Safety pointers

The automatic wash course may lead to a risk of injury due to moving components of the

installation.

•

Do not commission the installation if someone is in its operation area.

•

Ensure that people on board are in the passenger compartment during the automatic

wash or the passage.

•

Ensure that nobody is in the operation area during the automatic wash.

•

Turn off the main switch before beginning the work and avoid reconnection.

There is a risk of damage for the unit and the vehicle.

•

Access the installation only if the wash components are in basic position (out of the

driving range) and deactivated.

There is a risk that the wind strength makes the installation move.

•

If the wind speed exceeds 50 km/h ensure that the installation is fixed with the storm

protection.

•

If the wind speed exceeds 50 km/h ensure that the installation is not taken into opera-

tion.

8.2

General pointers

INFORMATION

Ensure that the persons who carry out the activation, the monitoring, the care, the check

and the maintenance are acquainted with this kind of work, the operation manual and the

danger in conjunction with the installation.

INFORMATION

The operator may not use the installation unless it is in proper functioning condition!

In order to ensure a long service life the maintenance should be carried out in the defined

intervals and the operator should check the wearout as well as the firm fastening of the

parts.

INFORMATION

Consider national laws, regulations and directives when operating the installation with

automatic start.

It is highly recommended to carry out a visual surveillance of the installation, to actuate an

emergency-stop device in case of danger.
