INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING

1.

        WARNING!  Make sure the Power Switch (38) of this tool is in its “OFF” posi-
tion and that the tool is unplugged from its electrical outlet before performing any
inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.

2.

BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of this tool.  Check for loose
screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, dam-
aged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.  If
abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected by a qualified
technician before further use.  Do not use damaged equipment.

5.

Periodically inspect the power cord to be sure it is in undamaged condition before
using this tool. Replace the cord if it is damaged.

6.

This tool should be stored in a dry protected area when not in use. Do not expose
this tool to a damp or corrosive atmosphere.

7.

The handle should be kept dry and free from grease.

8.

If the Switch does not operate properly, it must be replaced before using this tool.

9.

WARNING! If the locking attachment mechanism does not work properly, do not use
this tool. The attachment mechanism must work properly before using this tool.
