JIG SAW ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Changing Jig Saw Blades
Use the enclosed Wrench to loosen the Screw (6J). Remove the existing blade
and insert the new one making sure the cutting teeth face outward, away from
the Jig Saw body. Tighten the Screw (6J). See FIGURE 6.
Warning!
Never use bent, cracked, or broken blades. Using them may cause injury.
Using the Jig Saw
Warning! Always make sure the Switch (13J) is OFF before plugging in the unit.
Warning! Make sure there are no wires, cables, or pipes behind the material you are
sawing into.

Connect the Jig Saw to the Transformer and the power outlet by following the
directions on page 10.
Note: For intricate work, use the enclosed C-Clamp to secure the Jig Saw upside
down, to the workbench.

Turn on the Switch (13J). See FIGURE 7.

Slowly allow the blade to do the cutting. Do not force the blade. Never bend the
blade while cutting.
4.
When finished, turn off the Switch (13J) and disconnect the Jig Saw from the
Transformer and the Transformer from the wall outlet.
CAUTION: Always make sure the Power Cord of the Jig Saw is unplugged from
its electrical outlet
prior to making any adjustments to the tool.
