Station Search
Frequency Scan
The radio will scan, pausing for
10 seconds when a station is found.
To start the scan:
1. Press RADIO to choose
the band.
2. Touch More.
3. Touch Frequency Scan.
To cancel the scan, touch any
button.
Stations can be stored to Presets
during the scan. See
“ Storing a
Radio Station in the Favorites List ”
later in this section.
Preset Stations
. There are three favorite lists for
AM and FM.
. There are two autostore lists:
one for AM and one for FM with
five presets in each list.
Storing Radio Stations in the
Autostore List
The radio will scan the entire band,
select the stations with the best
reception quality, and store them
in the AM or FM autostore list.
To enable autostore:
1. Press RADIO to choose
the band.
2. Touch More.
3. Touch Show Autostore.
AM or FM autostore list will be
enabled.
4. Touch More.
5. Touch Autostore Search.
Autostoring AM/FM is displayed.
Autostore scans and stores the
first five strongest stations.
When autostore is completed,
the first stored station is played.
To cancel autostore, touch Cancel.
Storing a Radio Station in the
Favorites List
To store a radio station under any
preset:
1. Press RADIO to choose
the band.
2. Find a radio station manually or
automatically.
3. Press and hold the preset
station to be stored. A beep
sounds when completed.
Recall a Favorite Station
To recall a station from the favorite
lists:
1. Press RADIO to choose
the band.
2. Touch the preset.
To select an alternate favorite
list, touch
q
