MAINTENANCE
That’s easier to keep machine in good condition or best performance by means of maintaining it, than
remedy it after it is out of order.
1.
Daily Maintenance (by operator)
(a)
Fill the lubricant before starting machine everyday.
(b)
If the temperature of the spindle caused overheating or a strange noise, stop the
machine immediately to check.
(c)
Keep the work area clean, release vice, cutter, workpiece from table, switch off the
power source and clean chip / dust away from the machine. Then follow instructions
on lubrication before leaving.
2.
Weekly Maintenance
(a)
Clean and coat the leading screw with oil.
(b)
Check to see if the sliding surfaces and turning parts lack lubricant (lubricate if so).
3.
Monthly Maintenance
(a)
Check if the fixed parts are loose.
(b)
Lubricate bearing, worm and the worm shaft to avoid wear.
