5.2 Inspection and Maintenance
The type and extent of wear depends on individual usage and service conditions. For this
reason, all the intervals are only valid for the following authorized conditions:

Spindle nuts
Re-adjust
An increased clearance in the
spindles of the cross-table can be
reduced by re-adjusting the
spindle nuts. See spare parts
drawing 1.
The spindle nuts are re-adjusted
by reducing the flank of screw
thread of the spindle nut with an
adjusting screw. By re-adjusting
you can assure smooth running
of the toolpath, otherwise the
wear by friction between spindle
nut/spindle would increase
considerably.
Every six months
Geared mill-drill
head
Grease
Swivel the mill-drill head to the
right by 90°.
Detach the cover plate on the
rear side.
Lubricate the gear wheels
The spindle bearing arrangement is permanently lubricated. No new lubrication is necessary.
5.3 Repair
Any maintenance work may only be carried out by a specialized company or by a duly trained
personnel. Any maintenance work on electrical equipment may only be carried out specialized
electrical staff. For any repair work get assistance from our technical service team.
