Service and Maintenance
In relevant laws and regulations, wear
depth of tread has been restricted. Note
that when the wear depth reaches the limit
of 3mm, a wear band will appear on the
thread, which indicates that the
performance and safety of the tire has
been badly reduced at the time and it must
be replaced.
Please observe local provisions
on environmental protection to
dispose the worn tires. Once road status
permits, immediately replace the tires for
winter with the ones for summer. This can
reduce fuel consumption and noise.
Replacing Tire
The tires used on your vehicle have been
properly selected to provide optimal
operating control performance, comfort
and safety of vehicle. Above combination
of tire-rim is specified to apply to steel or
aluminum alloy rim; to know if the tires
and rims of other types apply to this
vehicle, please consult a Chery Authorized
Service Station.
We suggest in earnest that you use original
tire or refer to the advices of a Chery
Authorized Service Station when installing
a tire.
The speedometer will be affected by the
size of the tire used on the vehicle. If the
tire size (diameter) is different from that of
an original one, driving speed can not be
displayed correctly.
Improper tire and rim may
result in the accident which is not
covered by the warranty coverage.
To install nonstandard tire or
rim (for example, light alloy rim or the
wheel using the tire for winter), be
sure to observe relevant instructions or
consult a Chery Authorized Service
Station.
