TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Cause
Solution
Lid will not lock.
Gasket is not secured properly.
Remove gasket and re-insert using
the instructions on page 5.
Lid wil not open.
Floating valve is still lifted because
there is pressure in the cooking pot.
Turn the pressure release switch to
Venting to release all pressure; wait
until the floating valve drops.
Lid will not open.
Lid is not aligned on the pot
correctly.
Carefully move the lid until it can be
removed and reinstalled.
Water is leaking from the
Multi-Cooker.
Condensation cup is not installed.
Slide cup into the channel on the
back of the pot.
Rice is too soft, mushy.
Too much water was used.
Use less water; the typical white
rice to water ratio is 1 cup rice to 1
cup water.
Rice is too dry.
Too little water was used.
Use more water; the typical white
rice to water ratio is 1 cup rice to 1
cup water.

Unplug the Multi-Cooker and let it
cool down before turning it back
on.

High pressure switch has
malfunctioned.

Low pressure switch has
malfunctioned.
