Plug the other end of the thermometer
into the thermometer jack on the unit.

Select your desired cooking function
on the control panel (that button will
light up in blue when pressed).

Press Probe Cook.

Choose your desired cooking
temperature. Use the + and – on the
Temp button to adjust in increments of
5˚F (the temperature range will depend
on your cooking function; see chart on
p. 7).

Next, set your desired target internal
temperature for the food (from 125˚F
to 165˚F). To do so, use the Time + and
– buttons as the Time display in Probe
Mode will have switched to displaying the
probe temperature. Alternatively, if you’re
grilling, you can select one of the preset buttons for Chicken, Meat, or Fish. The unit
will automatically set the cooking temperature and the target internal temperature.
If you’re using the Meat preset, you can also select your preferred doneness: Rare,
Medium, or Well. Repeatedly press the Meat button to make the selection.
8.
Press Start/Stop. This will begin the unit’s automatic preheat.
