The first step in aligning the new A-arm front
suspension is to center the rack in its travel.
Placing a U-joint on the rack makes turning it
easy.

Turn the rack toward the passenger side of
the car until it stops (full lock position).

On the driver side, measure and record the
distance from the rack mount to the end of
the tie rod end. In our example the length is
9 7/8 inches.
