This fireplace is for use on 120V outlets. The cord has a 3 blade plug (See Figure 4-A). An adapter is available for
connecting three-blade grounded-type plugs to two-slot receptacles (See Figure 4-C). The green grounding lug extending
from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should
not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
Note: This grounding method is not applicable in Canada.

Once the unit has been properly connected to a grounded electrical outlet, it is ready to operate.
Note: Ensure the circuit breakers for the power supply are turned on.

Pilot Light for Heater: Pilot light goes on when heater is in use.
Note: The Flame and Heating system are controlled by separate power switches and can work independent from each
other. The Flame system can be on while the Heating element is off and the Heating element can be on while the
Flame system is off. We suggest that you should turn the Flame system and Heating system on at the same time
when you turn on the electrical fireplace.
