INFORMATION

SAFETY SYMBOLS

DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION statements are used throughout this 
Owner’s Manual to emphasize critical and important information. Read 
and follow these statements to help ensure safety and prevent property 
damage. 
The statements are defined below. 

WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situa-

tion which, if not avoided, could result in death or 

serious injury.

C A U T I O N

CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situa-

tion or unsafe practice which, if not avoided, may 

result in minor or moderate injury.

USE:

1.  Balance food on spit rod between meat forks.  Check 

balance by holding loaded spit rod loosely in hands and 
rotating.  Adjust as needed.

2.  Place loaded spit rod into motor.  Adjust collars so they rest 

snugly against spit rod brackets.  Tighten thumb screw.

3.  Heat grill and cook according to suggestions in Cooking 

Tips.

4.  If food becomes unbalanced during cooking, use gloves or 

mittens to remove loaded spit rod and adjust.  A cooking 
cord may be tied as needed to secure the food.

5.  When food is done, remove spit rod from motor, remove 

meat fork on motor side and slide food off spit rod. 

6.  Do not expose electric motor to grill settings above medi-

um. Damage to internal motor components may result.

ELECTRIC SHOCK POSSIBLE

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

1.  Read all instructions before attempting assembly, installation 

and use.

2.  Do not allow children to operate this product.  Provide close 

supervision if used near children.

3.  Do not touch hot surfaces without proper protection.
4.  Allow all parts to cool before assembling or disassembling.
5.  Do not use accessory attachments.
6.  Do not operate for any use other than intended.
7.  Remove motor from grill and store indoors when not in use.
8.  Do not use grill for non-rotisserie cooking with motor installed.
9.  To protect against electric shock, do not immerse motor, cord 

or plug in water or other liquids.

10. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug.
11. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
12. Unplug cord from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
13. Turn motor OFF before removing plug from outlet.

EXTENSION CORD SAFETY:

1.  T

his appliance is equipped with a three-prong (grounded) 

plug for your protection against shock hazard and should 
be plugged directly into a properly grounded three-prong 
receptacle. 

COOKING TIPS:

1.  When buying a roast, look for uniform-shaped cuts of meat 

to ensure even roasting.

2.  To reduce cooking time and ease handling of poultry, cook 

two smaller birds at once instead of one large bird.  Place 
birds together, legs to shoulders, for compactness and 
balance.

3.  Wrap aluminum foil around wing tips and ends of legs to 

avoid charring and burning.

4.  Apply marinades and sauces with a long handled basting 

brush frequently.

CLEANING:

1.  Allow all metal parts to cool before cleaning.  Wash with 

a mild dish soap and plastic bristle brush.  Towel dry and 
store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.

2.  NOTE: 

All metal parts are dishwasher safe

3.  Motor should be removed from grill when not in use.  Store 

in a cool dry place.

2.  Use only outdoor type with three-prong grounding plug, 

approved by UL, marked with a W-A and with a tag stating 
“Suitable for Use with Outdoor Appliances.” and rated for 
amperes.

3.  Use the shortest length extension cord required. Do not 

connect 2 or more extension cords together.

4.  Do not cut or remove the grounding prong from this plug.
5.  Keep connections dry and off ground.
6.  Do not let cord hang over edge of table top or other items 

where it can be pulled by children or tripped over.

7.  Connect only to socket-outlet having an earthing ground 

and protected by circuit breaker with a rated fault operat-
ing current (RCD) having a maximum rating of 30 mA. 

8.  This appliance is rated for :110-120 Volts - 60Hz,  9W
9.  Only connect this appliance to grounded AC outlet rated for 

110-120 V, 60 Hz.
