2. Status Indicator RAPs 2-4 CMT 130 Book Trimmer
RAP 2.3 Faults With Error Messages
An error message will appear on the display
screen often times when there is a fault. The fol-
lowing table contains an alphabetized list of pos-
sible error messages along with the associated
RAP’s.

At limit.
Gripper is at max forward or max reverse limit, or a limit sensor
is dirty of faulty GP 6.9 Proximity Sensors
Book jam between CMT-
130 and input device.
A book is jammed between the CMT-130 and the input device
(Elevator, Pile Feeder, etc.). Switch off the machine and re-

RAP 2.39 Internal Conveyor Motor
Book elevator FAILED to
lift to the proper
level
The lift plate sensor did not activate properly or in time. This
can be caused by either a misadjusted or faulty proximity sen-

Book failed to exit
gripper
A book is jammed in the gripper. Switch off the machine and

Clamp/knife down
The knife was down while the registration assembly was mov-
ing. ADJ 4.14 Counterbalance Valve
Conveyor Stopped
Out-feed accessory is full or jammed
DATA IS OUT OF RANGE
This error message displays when the operator attempts to en-
ter a book dimension that is either too small or too large. See Installation and Operator's Manual
Elevator Book Jam.

Input Door Open
A door on either the Tilt In-feed conveyor or the Elevator is
open, or the interlock circuit is open. Close both input doors.
