Insert in the CD-ROM drive the CD that you have received. The activation program ‘SC-30
DS module Activator’ will be automatically executed. If not, you should execute the
SETUP.EXE program in the CD-ROM drive.

Follow the steps.
To verify that your SLM already has the DS module activated:
Switch on the SC-30 and press the key sequentially until appears the new module. It
can be identified by the “DOSIMETER” title (module for the assessment of noise at
workplace).
8.2 Using the keyboard for the dosimeter mode
SC-30 Keys DOSIMETER mode:
Key to begin and to finish a measurement.
a) Key to temporarily interrupt a measurement

8.3 Using the SC-30
8.3.1 Switch on the SC-30
To switch on the SC-30, press the key:
The logo, together with the
SC-30 sound level meter model will appear on the
screen. A few seconds later, the initial screen predetermined in the configuration menu
option will appear.
If the SC-30 does not switch on, check that fully charged batteries are fitted or that it is
connected to a suitable power supply.
8.3.2 Accessing to the Dosimeter mode
Switch on the SC-30 and check there is no measurement running ( ), press sequentially the
key until appears the title “DOSIMETER”. Then will appear the dosimeter mode on the
