LONG RANGE
FUEL
TANKS
Special wings with long
range
fuel tanks
are
available to
replace
the
standard
wings
and
fuel tanks
for greater
endurance and
range.
When
these tanks
are installed,
the
total
usable fuel,
for all
flight conditions,
is

COLD WEATHER
EQUIPMENT
WINTERIZATION
KIT
AND
NON-CONGEALING
OIL
COOLER.
For
continuous operation in
temperatures consistently
below 20°F,
the
Cessna winterization
kit and non-congealing oil
cooler
should be
in-
stalled
to improve engine operation.
The
winterization kit consists
of two
shields
to
partially cover
the cowl nose cap opening,
one
shield
to
cover
the
carburetor
air
intake, and insulation
for
the
crankcase breather
line.
Once
installed,
the
crankcase breather
insulation is approved for
perma-
nent use
in
both cold and hot
weather.
The non-congealing oil
cooler
re-
places
the
standard
oil
cooler
and provides improved oil flow through the
cooler
in cold
weather.
