Follow steps to start
engine.
0W-30
Check Oil
Level
Recommended oil is
0W-30. The engine can be
seriously damaged without
oil. Always check the oil
level before using. The
machine must be resting
firmly on level ground when
checking.

Check Fuel
Level
Use clean, fresh, regular
unleaded gasoline with a
minimum octane rating of
85 and an ethanol content
of less than 10% by
volume.
Fuel Valve:
ON
Move the fuel valve lever to
the on position.
Choke: ON
To start a cold engine,
move the choke lever to
the choke position.
Throttle: Full
Speed
Move the throttle lever
to full speed to start the
engine.
Insert Engine
Key
Make sure the engine
safety key is inserted into
the key hole.
Cold Prime
To start a cold engine,
prime 3-5 times.
