GENERAL

Your Paint Shaker is a very useful air tool.  It has the capacity to shake a single pint can, four 1
liter round cans, most aerosols (with caps) and square gallons.  Your Paint Shaker can also
take 1/4 and 1/2 pints stacked, or singly with spacers.

UNPACKING

When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included. All sizes listed below are
approximate. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
on the cover of this manual.

ASSEMBLY

Step 1:

Select a clear area on your workbench to mount the Paint Shaker.  Use the appropriate
hardware.  Make sure Paint Shaker is securely mounted.

Step 2:

Thread  the 

INLET FITTING

 (#04) into the 

HOUSING ASSEMBLY

 (#40) and tighten

with a 5/8" wrench.

Step 3:

Thread the 

LUBRICATOR ASSEMBLY

 (#03) onto the 

INLET FITTING

.  Do not over

tighten.

Step 4:

Thread the 

CONTROL VALVE

 (#01) onto the 

BRASS NIPPLE

 (#02), already fitted to

the 

LUBRICATOR ASSEMBLY

.  Tighten with a 5/8" wrench.

Step 5:

Your Paint Shaker is ready for use.

NOTE 

The Recommended Oil for this air 

tool is 5W to 10W Non-detergent 

Rust Inhibiting Air Tool Oil.  DO NOT 

USE MOTOR OIL. 

CAUTION

Do not shake aerosols for more than one

minute.  Do not shake aerosols if can

temperature is over 100

o

F.
