I don’t have a wireless router. Can I still use the FireStar
XP?
Yes, it is possible to connect to the FireStar XP without a
router. See Stand Alone Network section.
If you choose to use the FireStar XP without a wireless router
and internet connection, you will be able to see the water
temperature, burner temperature and receive status updates
such as alerts. However, in order to take full advantage of
the FireStar XP’s online features, you must create an online
account and be connected to a wireless router.
I’m unable to access my online account.
Did you create your online account within 30 days of
installing your FireStar XP by visiting MyFireStar.com? Once
you create your account, you will receive an email with a
confirmation link. You must click on the confirmation link to
verify your account.
I can’t add my outdoor furnace to my online account.
Did you enter the correct serial number (including the
preceeding letter) for your outdoor furnace? The serial
number can be found on the metal data plate attached to
the outdoor furnace and begins with a letter.
Your outdoor furnace may not be registered for warranty.
Check the current status of your registration at:
www.CentralBoiler.com/w25
or call your dealer or Central Boiler’s warranty registration
department to get the status of your outdoor furnace’s
registration.
Your outdoor furnace may be associated with another
FireStar XP website account. Did you create another account
previously?
