Starting at the top of the Roof Support Assembly and working down attach 3 (0517) Cedar Roofing on one side
of the Roof Supports and (0501) Joists with 3 (S0) #8 x 7/8” Truss Screws per board. (fig. 6.2) Be sure to overlap
the Cedar Roofing as shown in fig. 18.4.
E:
Repeat Step A for the other side of the Roof Support Assembly.
F:
Drill a hole 1-1/2” above the factory drilled holes in 2 (0517) Cedar Roofing.
Attach 1 (0517) Cedar Roofing at
the bottom of the Roof Support Assembly on each side, making sure they are flush to each Roof Supports with 3
(S0) #8 x 7/8” Truss Screws. (fig. 6.2 and 6.4)
G:
Evenly space and attach the remaining (0517) Cedar Roofing, leaving no gaps, with 3 (S0) #8 x 7/8” Truss
Screws per board. There should be 13 (0517) Cedar Roofing per side. (fig. 6.2)
