Step 7:  Dormer Assembly 
Part 1

A:

  

Place 1 (2347) Roof Block on (2348) Roof Board A with angled edges facing up.  Edge of (2347) Roof Block to 

be flush with bevelled edge of (2348) Roof Board A.  Attach boards together with 1 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screw at 

bevelled edge side.  Do not add a screw on the opposite end until Step C.  (fig. 7.1 and 7.2)

Place 1 (2347) Roof Block on (2349) Roof Board B with angled edges facing up.  Edge of (2347) Roof Block to 

be flush with bevelled edge of (2349) Roof Board B.  Attach boards together with 2 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screws.

C:  

Place both assemblies together, as shown in fig. 7.5, then pre-drill pilot hole using a 1/8” drill bit and install 1 

(S3) #8 x 2-1/2” Wood Screw through (2348) Roof Board A into both (2347) Roof Blocks. (fig. 7.5)
