CHANGE AND INFORMATION

: When the you stop to supply the module,

the module maintain the timer thanks to a battery. Manual and automatic
relays' activation as well as hour visualisation will be cancelled till you supply
again the module.. This battery will be discharged according to its use. If
you do not change the battery, the module could not recuperate the hour
if its supplying is stopped.
The required battery is a CR-2032 with 3 V. that you could obtain in
specialised distributors.
To change it you have to carefully respect its polarity seeing the drawing.
Do not change the battery with the module supplied.

MINUTE'S SIGNAL

: The I-53 module is an automatism to activate hours and others outputs with an other output

for minute signals. This signal is detected each time minutes change offering during 0,5 sec. an impulse with a
high level. Do not connect any devise at this output, except the suggest devise hereafter. If you do not respect
this point you could seriously damage the module and cancel the module's guarantee. Please proceed as
followingÊ:
To obtain a relay output generating a minute signal, you have to find a 12 V relay and a 1 N4148 diode.
Seeing the following electrical and physics maps you have to connect "C" terminal of the JP1 jumper with the
indicated point. Do the same operation with the "E" terminal. Connect negative and positive terminals to the
module's input voltage. Be careful with the polarity.

Outputs Connection

: The I-53 output is controlled by a relay, and accept any devise up to 3 A. The relay

have three output terminals : The normally open quiescent (NO), the normally closed quiescent (NC) and
the common. This mechanism operate like a switch with two terminals NO and Common. For the inverse
function you have to use the NC and Common. In the drawing hereafter, you could see a typical
connection with a 12 V D.C and 230 V A.C devises.

DO NOT FORGET

: When the circuit works, and according to the load you could note a fluctuation or incorrect

operating on the output. If it is the
case, you have to connect a circuit
(composed by resistor and capacitor)
between both contacts of the relay
(see the schedule herewith).
