VIII.Future releases 2.5.x of KeyDuplicator II
This software is continuously evolving, according to new technologies, needs or ideas sent by
end users, bugs corrections, etc. Certain innovations are considered right now:
- New licence scheme: free release via Internet, some free of charge duplications as demo test,
then licence per copy with decreasing price based on duplication quantity. This new licence
price is not yet known, it will probably be of a few Euro cents per duplication. Licences will be
sold via Internet (Paypal payment).
- Duplication or Duplication auto-start, according to the number of inserted keys,
with a delay of X seconds before auto-start. The auto-start option and its delay will be
preferences parameters.
- Disk Copy from device to device, avoiding the need to create an Image file. Useful for HDD
duplication.
- Duplication duration will be estimated, taking into account keys speed and time needed for
plug/unplug operations.
- Complete log file with date, time, serial number, duplication result and any other useful
information.
- Capability to rename one or several files into all duplicated keys.
- Capability to delete one or several files into all duplicated keys.
- Automatic or manual updates available via Internet.
