Duplication parameters (Disk Image)
• Rename-Transfer Rate-Format:
The "Rename" button lets you change
the
volume label of selected devices in the list. It remains disabled and greyed until
a
new name is typed in
AND
at least one device is selected in the list. Click this button
to rename the selected volumes, before or after the duplication process.
Note: During duplication process, keys are automatically renamed, provided that a name
is typed in field «
Keys label
». The same behaviour applies during manual or automatic
format process. So, it’s not necessary to rename them before duplication or format
operation. On the contrary, it may be necessary to prohibit modifying keys name, using
the «
Don’t rename keys automatically
» option in Preferences window (See IV-2).
The «
Transfer Rate
» button quickly tests (in 2 seconds) the Write Data Transfer Rate
of the selected keys, that is marked keys in the list. The result is then displayed in the
«
Messages
» column of the main window, numerically and as an horizontal bar which is
proportional to the evaluated transfer rate. Please, refer to preferences (part IV-2) for
settings about transfer rate (automatic test or not, maximal bound for the rate).
The
green icon to the right of the bar is used to re-run a test of the selected key.
