coupling or joint or belt transmission.
Treated fluid: G = Gas, D = Dust.
The general label indicates the name of the series and the size of the fan; the
bidding documents bear the complete description of the supply; attachment Ex
that accompanies the supply indicates the basic operating and use character-
istics of the fan.
ATEX reference standards
In addition to the specific reference standards for each type of fan, indicated on
the relevant manual, ATEX fans, which are suitable to be installed in environ-
ments with particular flammability conditions, comply with the following standards:
EN 14986, EN 13463-1, EN 1127-1
and where applicable to EN 13463-5 ed EN 13463-6.
