Versatile tones are intended for DTM (desktop
music, or computer music). Performance
sounds of stringed instruments, wind
instruments, and other instruments, as well as
noise peculiar to instruments are assigned in
accordance with the key press strength
(velocity). Because of this, when playing on the
keyboard, relatively slight changes in keyboard
pressure can result in large changes in
volume, or changes in keyboard pressure may
be opposite what is expected.
