6 - MAINTENANCE

5. Loosen the coolant drain plug on the right side of the

engine block. Drain coolant inside the engine.

6. Loosen the air bleed plug

on the EGR cooler.

7. Close the coolant drain cock of the radiator.

NOTICE:

The coolant drain cock of the radiator should be

tightened by hand. It may be damaged if being tightened
with tools such as pliers.

8. Close the coolant drain plug on the engine block.

NOTICE:

the engine shall never be started with no water

in the radiator. This causes the engine to seize up.

NOTICE:

the drained coolant shall be disposed according

to the local Regulations for coolant fluids.
