6 - MAINTENANCE

Alternator

WARNING

Improper operation or service of this machine
can result in an accident.
Welding sparks can cause battery gases to ex-
plode. When welding on the machine, always
disconnect the B+ and D+ wires from the alter-
nator. Check the wire markings before recon-
necting to ensure a correct connection.
Failure to comply could result in death or se-
rious injury.
