INSTALL BULB AND GLASS

INSTALL LIGHT KIT BASE

Step 15.

Attach the WHITE wire plug from the bulb

plate to the WHITE wire plug of the fan.  Then at-
tach the BLACK wire plug from the bulb plate to
the BLACK wire plug of the fan.  The plugs have
alignment tabs, assure these are aligned —do not
force the connection.

Using the provided light kit screws, attach the light
kit bulb plate to the light kit base, securing by hand
only.  Assure that no wires are pinched.

Step 16.

Screw the 100-watt halogen bulb into the socket.

Do not touch the glass bulb with your fi ngers–it is extremely
important that the glass be clean.  If it is touched, or dirty,
clean carefully with a tissue. A dirty glass bulb will cause the
bulb to fail almost immediately.

Step 17.

Position the indentations in the outer rim of the

glass shade so that they line up with the tabs on the inside
surface of the fan light fi xture rim.

Step 18.

Carefully lift the glass shade up inside the light

fi xture as far as it will go.

Step 19.

Rotate the shade in a clockwise direction until it is

held tightly in place by the three tabs.

IMPORTANT!

When installing the halogen bulb, care-

fully cut off the end of the plastic sleeve the bulb
comes in and hold the bulb by the plastic sleeve to
screw it into the socket.

TIP:

At fi rst the shade is a very loose fi t in the

fi xture  and can be “wiggled” a little from side
to side. It is a great help when rotating the glass
shade to “wiggle” it at the same time.
