Switch
The on/off switch can be locked in the OFF (centre) posi-
tion. This prevents the device from starting unexpectedly.
Put the anti-clockwise/clockwise switch-over switch into
its centre position for locking.
Tool changeover
Attention!
For all work on the cordless tool (e.g. chan-
ging the tool; maintenance, etc..) put the sense of rotati-
on switch into its centre position.
- Place running sleeve (8) on the anvil (1).
- Test locking by pulling at the tool.
Inserting the battery block
- To lock, shift the anti-clockwise/clockwise switch to its
centre position.
- Insert the battery block in the right direction into the
device.
- Make sure that the latches on both sides of the
battery block are in the right position and that the
battery block is fastened before the tool is used.
Caution!
When inserting the battery block, make sure
that the notch lines up with the guide rail and that the
notches on the battery block are in the right place.
Incorrect insertion of the battery block can cause damage
to components.
Tightening and loosening of screws
First choose a hexagon coupling that corresponds to
the bolt or nut. Then mount the socket on the anvil
and hold the nut that needs to be tightened using
the hexagon coupling. Hold the screwdriver in alig-
nment with the bolt and depress the mains switch
for several seconds to tighten the nut. If the nut is
seated only loosely on the bolt, the bolt may turn
with the not and prevent it from tightening proper-
ly. In such a case, arrest the head of the bolt with a
spanner or tighten the bolt and the nut by hand.
