Brake Horsepower
Mid--- Low Range Motor/Drive Required
High Range Motor/Drive Required
NOTES:
1. Motor drive range is 710 to 879 for low range motor/drive, 872 to 1066 rpm for
mid--- low range motor/drive, and 1066 to 1260 rpm for high range motor/drive. All
other rpms require a field-supplied drive.
2. Maximum continuous bhp is 3.70 for low range motor/drive, 5.25 for mid--- low
range motor/drive, and 7.50 for high range motor/drive.
3. See General Fan Performance Notes.
GENERAL NOTES FOR FAN PERFORMANCE DATA TABLES
1. Static pressure losses from accessories and options
(Humidi-MiZer
™
system, economizer, etc.) must be added
to external static pressure before entering Fan Performance
table. Refer to Table 82 and Fig. 8--15 for Accessory/FIOP
Static Pressure information.
2. Interpolation is permissible. Do not extrapolate.
3. Fan performance tables are based on wet coils, clean
filters, and casing losses. Gas heat losses are included for
48 series units.
4. Extensive motor and drive testing on these units ensures
that the full horsepower range of the motor can be utilized
with confidence. Using the fan motors up to the bhp rating
shown will not result in nuisance tripping or premature
motor failure. Unit warranty will not be affected.
5. Use of a field-supplied motor may affect wire size.
Recalculate the unit power supply MCA and MOCP if
required. Contact your Carrier representative for details.
6. Use the following formula to calculate input watts:
Input Watts = Bhp x (746/Motor Eff)
