Use of the remote control

Warnings:

- The air flow louvre positioning function does not operate when the

air conditioner is switched OFF or when unit starting is selected
with the timer.

- Do not use the air conditioner with the air flow louvres downwards

in cooling and dehumidification mode for a long time. In these
cases condensing water on the louvre surface may form that may
cause dripping.

- Do not change the louvre position manually. Always use button

, otherwise the louvres can reposition themselves during unit

operation.

- When the air conditioner is restarted immediately after a stop, it is

possible that louvres do not change their position for 10 seconds.

- If the temperature value is changed during heating mode

(particularly for high temperature in the room); it is possible that
the unit stops, the louvres will close for a moment and position
themselves in the memorized position.

“Economy” mode
(button E)

Activation
Press button 

 to activate the economy mode in automatic,

cooling or heating operation.
The green economy mode LED on the indoor unit will light up while
the operation LED will turn OFF. The unit will acknowledge signal
receipt with a confirming acoustical sound.
On the remote control readout symbol 

 will light up and the unit

will select automatic air flow control.

Deactivation
Press button 

again to deactivate economy mode.

On the indoor unit the economy mode LED will turn OFF while the
operation LED will light up.
The unit will acknowledge signal receipt with a confirming
acoustical sound.
On the remote control readout symbol 

 will disappear.

Check button
(button I)

If you have two indoor units in the same room, you can synchronize
one remote control with one indoor unit, and the other remote
control with the other indoor unit.
The first-time selection must be carried out by authorized personnel
during installation.
When it becomes necessary to change the battery or the remote
control, the remote control selection for the two units is lost. To
restore it, proceed as follows:
- With a sharp object push button

as shown (on the remote control display the indicator for unit "B"
selection will appear);

- Check that the indoor unit can operate with this setting of the

remote control.

Timer mode
(buttons
L, M, N, and O)

Warning:
It is not possible to store the same time for starting and stopping of
the unit with the timer. It is possible to select a minimum time
interval of 30 minutes within the following 10 hours between the two
functions, and a minimum interval of 1 hour for 10 to 12 hours.

Selection of the timer operating mode:

1) Press start mode button ON or the stop mode button OFF

according to your needs.

Each time the button is pressed, the time selected and its
indication on the display will change in the following order:

2) Press the memory button SET.

The remote control sends the signal to the unit and the orange
timer LED on the indoor unit will light up. Indication of timer
memorization will disappear from the control display after 3
seconds and the timer symbol will remain illuminated.
Pressing button  SET  again, it is possible to see the remaining
time on the display.

Timer mode cancellation

To cancel the timer selections press button CLR.

Changing the timer memorization

To change the timer memorization, press ON o r OFF button once.
The last timer value selected will appear on the remote control
display and start flashing.
To change the selected time and store it, repeat the steps described
above.
