For the water piping, select components that exceed water pressure specifications
needed for the product.
Use copper or stainless steel pipes for water piping.
Install union joints to facilitate the easy replacement of connectors.
Install a service valve for cleaning the heat exchanger at the inlet and outlet of
each water pipe.
Install the air vent in the section of the pipe with the highest elevation. This
prevents air from gathering in the piping that could potentially impede the flow of
water in the system.
Install a drain valve to drain water in the piping in case of replacing parts or
performing service activities.
Install a ball valve that will be used to block the flow of water by locking the valve
in the event of part replacement or cleaning.
Insulate water pipes to prevent condensed water from forming on the outer
surface of a water pipe.
The pump flow in a water pipe is 20 to 80LPM, and the recommended flow ranges
from 35 to 40LPM. The maximum allowable pressure is less than 0.98 bar.
Install a ball valve at each side of a pump to facilitate the cleaning and repair of the pump.
Install a flexible joint to prevent noise and vibration from being delivered by the pump.
Install an expansion tank not only to contain water that shrinks and expands
according to the temperature gap, but also to supply water.
Supply water by opening the water supply valve after completing the installation
of the water piping system.
Install a domestic hot water tank temperature sensor to measure the water
temperature in the tank using the domestic hot water tank temperature sensor
and temperature sensor well.
The flow temperature range in the water pipe is 15 to 80
℃
.
(Operation out of flow temperature range may cause product failure.)
You must install a strainer on a water pipe.
- Use a strainer with 50 mesh or greater and a scale diameter of 0.4mm or less.
- You must install a strainer on a horizontal pipe.
(Sand, waste, rust particles accumulated in the water pipe may cause failure of
the product due to corrosion of metal materials.)
