WARNING!

Risk of burning your hair if selected temperature is too high!
Depending on your hair type the wrongly selected temperature 
or improper use of the hair straightener puts your hair at risk 
of drying out or in the worst case burning. Listed below are the 
recommended temperature levels that should always be observed: 

Always select the lowest temperature level 
(130°C) when using your hair straightener  
for the first time.

Select a low temperature level of approx. 150°C 
for blonde, bleached or colored hair.

Select a medium (170°C) or (190°C) temperature 
level for normal and slightly wavy hair.

Select a high (210°C) or (230°C) temperature 
level for very thick, curly and hard to  
straighten hair.

•   Part your hair into strands and hold them under tension

).

•   Start at the roots and put the device with the opened comb into 

the prepared hair strand (

see fig. 6

).

•  Release the button e to close the comb (

see fig. 7

).

Note!

The straightening comb closes and clamps the hair between the 
heated comb surfaces.
•   Draw the hair straightener slowly from the roots down to the 

tips of your hair (

see fig. 8

). Repeat until your hair is as straight 

as you desire. After finishing styling, let your hair cool down and 
then comb it through.

Switching off the appliance

Switch off the appliance using the on/off switch

WARNING!
Danger of burns from hot appliance components!

Immediately after the hair straightener has been switched off,  
the appliance needs approx. 15 minutes to cool down. Hence, 
please observe the following safety instruction:
•   Never grasp the appliance by or near the straightening comb 

when the appliance is still hot. Avoid any contact between hot 
appliance parts and your skin and eyes. Never transport the 
appliance when it is hot!

Your appliance is fitted with an ion generator. Activating this 
function will give your hair enhanced shine while styling. 
The ion generator also prevents the build-up of static charge on 
your hair. 
•   To activate the function, press the ion on/off switch

Note!

The ion generator can only be activated, when the appliance is 
switched on before, by using the on/off switch

. After turning the 

appliance off, the ion generator is always deactivated when turning 
the appliance back on. To reactivate the function, press the ion on/
off switch
