Reinigung

Die Desinfektion der kontaminierten Teile ist nur wirksam, wenn

diese zuvor sorgfältig gereinigt wurden. CareFusion empfiehlt zur

Vorreinigung und Desinfektion die getestete Lösung aus PeraSafe-

Sterilisationspulver (36-SSC5000A). Wenn eine andere Lösung

verwendet wird, befolgen Sie bitte die jeweiligen

Herstelleranweisungen.

VORSICHT:

Schalten Sie vor der Reinigung das BabyCO Meter aus

und trennen Sie stets den Anschluss zum Computer.

Wenn Sie das Einweg-Papiermundstück mit einem Ein-Wege-Ventil

unter der Bedingung verwenden, dass der Patient angewiesen

wurde, nur auszuatmen, müssen der Mundstück-Adapter und das

CO-Messgerät gereinigt werden.

Der Mundstück-Adapter kann durch Eintauchen in Perasafe

(36-SSC5000A) oder andere Kaltsterilisationslösungen gereinigt

werden. Das Gerät kann von außen mit einem sauberen, feuchten

Tuch oder einem mit Sterilisationslösung befeuchteten Tuch

abgewischt werden. Es wird empfohlen, diese Reinigung nach

jedem Gebrauch durchzuführen und alle gebrauchten Mundstücke

zu entsorgen.

Wichtiger Hinweis:

Die Sensoroberfläche darf nicht mit wässrigen

Lösungen abgewischt werden und

keinesfalls

mit Lösungsmitteln

wie z. B. Alkohol in Berührung kommen, da es andernfalls zu einer

permanenten Beschädigung kommen kann.

VORSICHT:

Das BabyCO Meter nicht mit Wasser oder Reini-

gungsflüssigkeit abwischen bzw. darin eintauchen, da ansonsten

die elektronischen Bauteile im Inneren dauerhaft Schaden nehmen.
