CLOSING THE UMBRELLA
Secure the cover with the binding
belt to keep from moving around in
the wind. Movement in the canopy
cover can chafe and can wear itself
through at the frame.
Insert the crank handle into the hole
in the umbrella pole.
Before closing the umbrella com-
pletely, pull out the fabric from
between the struts and fold it
around the umbrella so it cannot be
damaged from getting caught bet-
ween the struts.
To close turn the crank counter-
clockwise.
Pull the protective bag over the
umbrella. The optional push-rod can
be used to assist in installing.
The umbrella closes slowly.
