APPENDIX F: HDD INSTALLATION GUIDE

WARNING: The end user should NOT attempt to install/change the hard disks. Please consult your

distributor/installer.

CDR 1620VDE / CDR 0820VDE

1 Remove the top cover by unscrewing 4 screws located at the rear and 3 located on both sides.

2 Remove the 4 mountings screws to the HDD holder

3 Insert HDD(s) and tighten using the 4 HDD screws (not supplied)

4 Connect the power and data cable (s).

Data Cable Socket ID:

Single HDD: Use any socket

Twin HDD:

Socket near to drives identified as HDD 1

Socket further to drives identified as HDD 2
