5.6 Engine
5.6.1 Engine Oil
• Fire hazard. Keep fire and spark away when handling fuel or oil.
• Dispose of drained oil properly.
• Make certain to fill engine with correct grade of oil to the specified level.
Insufficient amount or wrong grade of oil reduces performance and may cause
permanent damage to engine.
• To obtain correct reading, check oil level before starting, or wait about 10 minutes after
stopping engine to allow oil to drain back to oil pan. Circulating oil stays in various parts of
engine right after stopping.

when servicing the engine.
• Always check oil level on a level ground.
• Oil capacity and grade: Automotive gasoline engine oil, 0.56L
API rating SE or better
SAE index 10W-30 or 10W-40
