1.2.3 Preparation
• Fire hazard.
- Fuel can catch fire and explode. Do not handle fuel near open fire or spark.

operating or servicing this machine. Proper clothing will minimize risk of injury.
• Perform daily inspection (see
4.1.4 Pre-start up Inspection
) before starting this machine.
Repair or replace damaged parts before starting this machine.
• Check the work site for potential dangers before operation.
• Keep bystandards, in particular children, away when operating this machine.
1.2.4 Operation
• Do not operate the engine in a confined space where dangerous carbon monoxide fumes
can accumulate.
• Do not touch the engine, muffler or exhaust pipe while the engine is running or soon after it
has stopped. These areas will be very hot and can cause burns.
General Driving
• Loss of control or overturn of the machine can result in property damage,
serious injury or death. Always pay close attention to the factors such as speed,
rate of steering, terrain, and load that affect the stability of the machine.
