BATTERY CHARGING
(Not available for all markets)
•
Place the charging station against a wall and connect the adapter (the indicator
on the charging station lights up).
Note! Remove any obstacles within one metre of either side of the charging
station and two metres in front.
•
Switch ON the power switch on the bottom of the robot vacuum cleaner (the LED
shows blue and the robot vacuum cleaner is in standby mode). If no command is
given, the robot vacuum cleaner will enter sleep mode after 30 seconds.
CHARGE THE ROBOT VACUUM CLEANER IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
•
Connect one side of the adapter to the robot vacuum cleaner and the other to the wall socket (see below left)
•
Press HOME on the remote control to move the robot vacuum cleaner to the charging station for charging.
Note!
•
Leave the power switch in the ON position (if you switch it OFF, the robot vacuum cleaner will not work).
•
Switching OFF the power switch cancels any scheduled cleaning.
•
Make sure (before charging the robot vacuum cleaner) that the power switch is ON. If it is OFF, you will not be able to
charge the robot vacuum cleaner (the LED on the CLEAN button will flash red and you will hear a beep).
•
When charging is complete, the robot vacuum cleaner beeps five times (it takes a maximum of five hours to charge the robot
vacuum cleaner).
•
When the robot vacuum cleaner is in working mode and needs charging, it will return to the charging station automatically.
For optimum battery life:
•
Charge the robot vacuum cleaner for 12 hours before using it for the first time.
•
Charge the robot vacuum cleaner as soon as it needs charging.
•
The robot vacuum cleaner will return to the charging station automatically when it has finished cleaning or needs charging.
•
If the robot vacuum cleaner is not to be used for longer periods: Fully charge the battery, switch OFF the power switch and
store the robot vacuum cleaner in a dry and cool place.
•
If the robot vacuum cleaner is not to be used for three months or more: Charge the battery for 12 hours, switch OFF the
power switch and store the robot vacuum cleaner in a dry and cool place.
