The Sound M does not
turn on automatically�
1� The standby function is factory set to ECO /
[ECO]� The system must be turned on manually�
1� Switch the standby function to "Auto" / [AUT]�
2� The device has been switched off via the
“ON / Standby” button of the remote control
or the “Power” button of the TV remote
control (when using the IR learning function)�
2�1� Switch on the Sound M via the “ON / Standby” button of the
remote control and wait until it automatically switches to
the standby mode, next time�
2�2� Delete the “Power” button of your TV remote from the
Sound M to prevent it from switching off together with your
TV�
3� The signal at AUX (Line) input is too low�
3� Increase the output level on your source device�
Sound M
switches off
automatically�
1� The standby function ECO / [ECO], AUT / [AUT] or
NETWORK / [NSB] is activated�
1� Select the standby function MANUAL [MAN] for the Sound M
to stay on permanentely�
2� The infrared command for Standby has been
learned incorrectly�
2� Learn the infrared command for Standby again according to the
manual and the notes�
Sound M
does not turn off auto-
matically�
1� The standby function MANUEL [MAN] is
activated�
1� Activate the standby function ECO / [ECO], AUT / [AUT] or
NETWORK / [NSB]�
2� The standby function AUTO / [AUT] is activated
and the source device also transmits a carrier
signal in standby mode (optical or coaxial digital
input, only)�
2� Disconnect the source device from the mains resp� turn it off
using the power switch or manually switch off the Sound M�
