Troubleshooting

Problem

DM system does not
respond to remote
control.
1. the battery is empty.
1. Replace battery, observe correct polarity at insertion.
2. Protective foil has not been removed.
2. Remove the protective foil from remote control.
No sound
reproduction.
1. Sound format of the source device wrongly
selected (Digital input “tV” and “DVD”)
1. Please check the correct setting of your source device.
“DTS” encoded output formats cannot be reproduced.
2. Source device doesn‘t output an audiosignal.
2. Activate the digital output at the source. increase output
volume of the source.
3. Cable not correctly connected / faulty cable.
3.1. Check the connection of the source device to the DM
system and change the cable where necessary.
3.2. Please check if you have removed the protective caps
from the provided optical cable.
Sound reproduction
too soft.
1. Volume of DM system or source device is set
too low.
1. increase the volume using the “Volume” button.
increase the volume of the source device.
2. the maximum possible volume has been
limited by means of the “Volume” function.
2. increase the max. possible volume in line with instructions
(page 45).

1. the preset (factory setting) for the Aut
function is OFF (disabled).
1. Activate the Aut function (ON) (Page 48).
2. the DM system was switched off via the
“ON/Standby” key of the soundbar remote
control or the “Power” key of the tV remote
control (using the iR learning function).
2.1. Switch on the DM system via the “ON/Standby” key on
the remote control and wait in future until it switches
automatically to the standby mode.
2.2. Delete the “Power” key of your tV remote control from
the DM system so that you do not turn it off along with
your tV.
3. the DM system was switched to the other
digital input which receives no signal and has
switched itself off automatically.
3. Switch the DM system on using the “Power” key on
the remote control and select the digital input that is
connected to the desired source device.
the DM system
switches into standby
autonomous.
1. the eCO function is activated (ON).
1. Deactivate the eCO function (Page 49).
2. the Aut function is activated (ON).
2. Deactivate the Aut function (Page 48).
3. the infrared command for standby (StB)
has been learned incorrectly.

3. Disconnect the source from the mains resp. set the
DM system into standby mode manually.
