READER MOUNTING 

 

1.

 

Do not install the mounting plate to the reader until the last step. 

2.

 

Connect cables with terminal blocks through the gap of the mounting 
plate as shown. 

See Wiegand reader wiring section

3.

 

If necessary, connect an Ethernet cable (RJ-45) to the RJ-45 jack through 
the gap of the mounting plate. 

4.

 

If mounted as a standalone reader, use the supplied transformer and plug 
the connector to the 12VDC port through the gap of the mounting plate. 

5.

 

Install the mounting plate to the wall (1.15 to 1.20 m above the ground). 

See mounting plate section above for more information

6.

 

Mount the reader to the mounting plate using the mounting holes and the 
mounting studs and ensure it is rested steadily on the mounting plate. 

7.

 

Tighten screws at the bottom of the mounting plate to the reader.
