If a message does not disappear even after removing the paper

 

Paper may be jammed in another area. Check another area also and remove the 
paper.

 

If the jammed paper cannot be found

 

Paper may be jammed inside the fixing unit.
See "Clearing Paper Jammed inside the Fixing Unit" (p. 106), and then remove the 
jammed paper.

If the jammed paper cannot be found, remove the paper inside the fixing unit using 
the following procedure.

CAUTION

 

Precautions when removing jammed paper

 

Make sure that the fixing unit is completely cool before removing the jammed paper. 
Touching the fixing unit when it is still hot may result in burns.
