Step 3-1. HDD

Take out the HDD, following the numbers given in the figure below. For the standard

configuration (with one HDD installed), skip Steps (2) to (4).

Please be careful not to lose the jumper receptacle attached to the HDD from Upgrade Kit. It is necessary for it

to be recognized as Slave HDD (the second HDD). If the HDD from Upgrade Kit is installed without the

jumper receptacle, not only the HDD is not recognized as Slave but also customer data in the HDD or the HDD

itself can be destroyed.
