Checking the Maintenance Cartridge Status with the LCD on the
Printer

1. Make sure that the power is turned on, and display the HOME screen.

If the HOME screen is not displayed, press the 

HOME

 button.

2. Select 

Maintenance

 on the HOME screen, then press the 

OK

 button.

LCD and Operation Panel

The 

Maintenance

 screen will appear.

3. Select 

Maintenance cartridge info

, then press the 

OK

 button.

4. Check the maintenance cartridge status.

A symbol appears in the area A if there is any information about the used space of the maintenance
cartridge.

Example: 

The maintenance cartridge is almost full. Prepare a new maintenance cartridge because an error may
occur if you continue to use the printer while the maintenance cartridge is full.

Note

• The above screen shows estimated used space.
