Test Mode Function Problems

5.5.1 

Faulty Operation Panel Test

0002-5806

The LED panel does not display correctly.

(1) Check the connection between the OPECNT board (J1) and the SPCNT board (JPANEL1).

(2) Replace the operation panel unit.

(3) Replace the SPCNT board.

The LED lamp fails to go ON.

(1) Check the connection between the OPCNT board (J1) and the SPCNT board (JPANEL1).

(2) Replace the operation panel unit.

(3) Replace the SPCNT board.

The key on the operation panel fails to work properly.

(1) Check the connection between the OPCNT board (J1) and the SPCNT board (JPANEL1).

(2) Replace the operation panel unit.

(3) Replace the SPCNT board.

5.5.2 

Faulty DRAM Test

0002-5811

The intention "READ & COMPARE NG" appears.

(1) Perform the DRAM test again.  In case "Read & COMPARE NG" still appears, replace the SPCNT board.

5.5.3 

Faulty Sensor Test

0002-5812

Paper edge sensor fails to operate properly.

(1) Check whether the actuator of paper edge sensor is in correct position.

(2)    Check the connection between the SCPNT board (JEXT1) and the SENSOR board (JEXT2).

(3) Replace the SENSOR board.

(4)    Replace the SPCNT board.

Cover sensor fails to operate properly.

(1) Check whether the actuator of cover sensor is in correct position.

(2) Replace the SPCNT board.
