About Quiet setting

Enables this function on the machine if you want to reduce the operating noise, such as when printing at
night.

Follow the procedure below to perform setting.

1.

Make sure that the machine is turned on.

Confirming that the Power Is On

2.

Press the Maintenance button repeatedly until the LED displays as follows.

3.

Press the Black button.

To disable the function, press the Maintenance button repeatedly until the LED above appears, then
press the Color button.

Important

Operating speed may be reduced compared to when the quiet mode is not selected.

Note

You can also perform this setting from Quiet Settings on the Maintenance sheet in the printer
driver to reduce the operating noise while printing is in progress.
