B. Outline of the Electrical System
The paper deck operation sequence is controlled by the paper deck driver PCB.  The 8 bit CPU
(IC201) in the paper deck driver PCB controls the operation sequence and serial communication
with the option controller PCB.

The paper deck driver drives the solenoid and motors etc. with commands sent by serial

communication from the option controller.  The paper deck driver also notifies the option
controller by serial communication of the status of the various sensors and switches.

The diagram below outlines the flow of signals between the paper deck and the option

controller.
