  Reconnect the paper deck unit to the main unit .

 

 

 

 

If the screen indicating the paper jam is no longer displayed after reconnecting the paper deck unit to the main unit, proceed to step 7.

When reconnecting the paper deck unit to the main unit, be careful not to get your fingers caught, as this may result in 

personal injury .

  Press the open button to open the paper deck unit .

 

 

 

 

The inside lifter descends automatically.

If the machine is in the Sleep mode (the touch panel is not displayed, and only the main power indicator is lit), you may not be able to 

open the paper deck unit. In this case, press the control panel power switch to reactivate the machine, and then press the open button 

on the paper deck unit.

  Remove any jammed paper .

 

 

 

 

Look carefully, as jammed paper may be difficult to see.
